What Are Your Store Hours?

Come visit us Monday through Friday from 1:00pm – 5:00pm and Saturday from 11:00am – 5:00pm.

Do I Need to Make An Appointment?

We prefer appointments but will accept walk ins! We prefer you make an appointment so we can make sure we have enough volunteers so everyone gets the best experience possible.

What Can I Donate?

We take Wedding Dresses (no more than 10 years old), Formalwear, Mother-of-the-Bride Dresses, Vintage Gowns, and Flower Girl Dresses. We also take accessories such as Veils, Belts, Hair Accessories, Shoes, Jewelry, Bras, Petticoats, Gloves, etc.

Should I Have My Dress Donation Cleaned?

YES PLEASE! Many dry cleaners are happy to give discounts on cleanings for dresses being donated, and dresses made of polyester can often be turned inside out and washed in a front load washer. If you’re at all considering donating your dress, task a friend or family member with getting it cleaned as soon as possible after your wedding- hem dirt comes out much better if cleaned immediately. If you’re not able to clean your dress, please consider including a monetary donation of $150.00 to cover various costs of preparing your dress for the shop.

How Do I Get My Donation to You?

In Person: If you live in the greater Seattle area, we’d love to meet you! Donations are accepted during regular business hours.

By Mail: Print out the donation form linked here. Wrap the dress in a plastic bag, then roll the dress and pack it (plus any accessories) and your donation form in a box for shipping. If your gown is in a preservation box, please remove it before shipping and pack it in a smaller box. Ship to us at 10310 S Tacoma Way, Unit 1 Lakewood, WA 98498. Please do not request signature confirmation when shipping.

Will I Receive A Receipt For My Donation?

As a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, Adorned Boutique will issue you a receipt for your monetary or product donations. The receipt for donated goods will not show the value of the goods; you (and your accountant) can determine that value using IRS guidelines. Please let our volunteer staff know the name and email address of the donor if you bring in a gown for someone else.

Do you Buy Used Wedding Gowns or Allow Trades of Special Occasion Dresses?

Because Adorned Boutique is a non profit organization and is run by volunteers, we do not have the resources to purchase dresses or the staff to accommodate taking trades. If we had to purchase our inventory then our prices would be the same as a retail store but since our inventory is from donations, we are able to offer extremely low prices for our gowns.

Do you Sell Plus Sizes?

We have a variety of sizes and our inventory is constantly changing so the best thing to do is come in and see what we have or view our Dresses and Accessories page. We will try to make sure the smallest and largest sizes available are represented.
